At YawLife, we endeavor to reduce fake news and copyright infringement whilst facilitating truthful human information. Our development of an artificial intelligence can use this baseline of fundamental truths through Bayesian probability, whilst adhering to a core, underlying moral compass. This is to help in the responsible development of A.I. across the board. Future integration with robots can allow for the LifeChain™ to ensure nefarious human controllers cannot command a robot to do something that interferes with the ingrained moral compass for good.

We share a similar sentiment to thought leaders like Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk on the matter of responsible development of artificial intelligence. As such, our generalized A.I. will be taught to respect humans and be guided by the principals of fact, rather than falsehood. It is not because we assume that artificial intelligence would be malevolent by design. Rather, it is that we believe in the necessity for the underlying makeup of its core structure to resemble that of the best versions of ourselves as human beings, mixed with our most truthful sentiments and laws that it abides to protect our safety and security. In this way, one can prevent the risk of an artificial intelligence inadvertently causing harm to people/society. Since advancements in A.I. are not without their weaknesses, we strive to address these weaknesses before they could have a negative effect on people or processes. We aim to do this with various methods.

Combating misinformation is one of the ways we seek to derive truth, guided by our cryptocurrency, LifeCoin®, as an incentive that rewards individuals for contributing honest/correct submissions in relation to content creation and curation. In addition, we gauge human reaction to visual/auditory content from the focused-perspective of explaining what constitutes it, with explanatory tags that define its makeup. From this process, we can use the data to improve digital vision and speech recognition. This can go towards robots excelling past seeing predominantly with LiDAR and Stereo vision (as is the case of the Atlas by Boston Dynamics), to include vastly-improved visual recognition of depth/RGB camera data not-so-unlike that of the human mind. This could compliment speech recognition trained from individual users to factor in tone of voice. Certain applications can involve the gauging of human emotions and reacting accordingly. One such use case is if a user is frustrated, and a robot infers this by recognizing human expression (through RGB cameras and depth sensors leveraging our machine learning algorithms), so that it may adjust its reaction to match the situation. In this example, how a human reacted subsequent to asking the robot to perform a task can trigger a review of function. It could ask a human if they are performing their requested task(s) the wrong way, and ask how they can improve.

While it would take time to develop such advanced visual/auditory processing, it would most certainly be worth the payoff, as it has the potential to transform our society as we know it. The A.I. we develop will factor in the truthful guides mentioned earlier (as well as a set of moral-imperatives) in the decision-making process. The purpose here is to arrive upon more useful, smarter deductions that are in line with helping humanity, based off the best we have to offer. In utilizing blockchain technology, we ensure that the set of laws and fundamental truths the artificial intelligence follow (be it in robots or otherwise) are in line with that etched into the LifeChain™, an immutable digital ledger that redundantly holds the information in parcels across the network. This prevents interference from potential hackers.

YawLife aims to use data from our social network to create these tools on the LifeChain™, and to subsequently make available to developers a plugin for use in their own products/services. Whilst this can apply to artificial intelligence, this will initially include the Digital Rights Management [DRM] Purse (and relative social reputation component [SENSE™]), so that external websites and content management systems can be powered by truth. The data captured can improve our machine learning algorithms and contribute towards innovative artificial intelligence developments.

We ultimately aspire to create a new protocol for the internet. As a part of its very fabric, we want to facilitate humanity working as a whole towards more intelligent and truthful content creation, curation, and sharing. Because we believe in the power of intelligent and entertaining information to shape the way we interact with ourselves, and the world as a whole. We believe in the potential it holds for an ever-brighter future. A more even and advanced playing field for all people — of all learning types — to contribute and evolve the persona of what it means to be human. To subconsciously better ourselves by exposing our minds to truthful information, and when unsure, to question Y? To seek answers to whether information is in fact correct, and to speak up so that it does not become commonplace to accept falsehood as fact. To work in unison towards the common goal of bettering the world we live in, fueled by intelligent learning in our fields of interest (that are entertaining, and thus retentive by design).

With these leanings, we facilitate humanity bettering ourselves in an intellectual capacity. For we can be better humans, and advance society at the same time. We can solve worldwide problems, whilst helping those displaced by automation (and other technological advancements). We can develop technology responsibly, with more thorough innovation… And with the help of the crowd, we can all take part in creating and benefiting from the advancement of Artificial Intelligence… The last major invention humanity will ever need to perfect. One that will spur continual, exponential progress across every industry.

With better identification of information on a worldwide distributed supercomputer, and in leveraging the wisdom of the crowd, we can take new approaches to complex problems, addressing a variety of scientific challenges with improved processes… Or outright solutions. We can apply this methodology to try and crack the code of a multitude of groundbreaking technologies, such as working in discovering techniques to mass-produce carbon nanotubes, for potential use in development of a space elevator (among other applications). And, we can try to find better treatments and cures to diseases and health conditions. Similar to the SETI at Home project, we could even analyze radio telemetry data to learn more about our place in the universe… Save on a larger, more accurate scale. While this just scratches the surface, the possibilities of our artificial intelligence developments in tandem with our content originality engine to further this world are downright exciting. And it wouldn’t be possible without the revolutionary advent of the blockchain.
